What goes into a portal masthead image?

Portal mastheads are intended to be eye-catching, brand-appropriate images that will help to engage the user, build trust, and get them excited about their discount program.

Mastheads can be anything from lifestyle photography to illustrations to abstract graphics. They should be attention-grabbing and friendly, without pulling too much attention away from the “Create Account” and “Sign In” buttons on the page. The color scheme of the masthead images should coordinate with your custom color scheme so they don’t clash.

You can choose an image of your own for the portal masthead, or the PerkSpot Client Success team can recommend and provide an appropriate image.

What should NOT go into a Portal Masthead image?

Portal mastheads should not include any text, logos, or other non-graphic elements. They should not be used to promote offers or communicate any messages. Ideally, they should be one singular image—not a collage of several images.
